tomcat9_, sorry, they changed it.
Thats fine.
that gives me a lot of hits... best I can do
But it was just a simple question.
well you are complaining that my answer is a simple question
tomcat9_, in #ubuntu-offtopic or ##linux, or ask here
How am I complaining?
Hi, if I want to build a minimal system, i.e. with only core utils like sh, sed, awk, cp, ls, tar, not including a graphical system, what software do I need to build?
tomcat9_, read the pm from ubottu
I would expect that the installed distributions would work on your hardware, what problems have you encountered?
bazhang, no its cool, I know what you mean
tomcat9_, ubuntu/kubuntu/xubuntu?
bazhang, yes its a ubuntu based server
tomcat9_, and the Ubuntu repos?
this may just be a difference in versions of the linux kernel you are trying to use and what you have installed
bazhang, repo's?
you say you have the 'installed distribution' but the kernel complains that it is not supported
meaning you have the ubuntu kernel and it does not support the hardware
Hey, I'm trying to install ubuntu 10.04 via pendrive using unetbootin. It just stays at the "Getting more software"
